I like them both myself : )

In all seriousness I find the sexist macho thing to be just a little dated. Or maybe not dated, just the persona? I don't know. I wasn't a real big Brent fan either, especially when he would get all up in it yelling and going all overboard. Just something about the raps and the cussing diminished the Grateful Dead experience to me and took it from a genious that is timeless to some sort of mullet wearin classic rock thing. Nothing personal, just my preference.

As for Pig - like I said I only like small doeses but I respect his one of a kind presence.

as in...

"little red rooster, you ain't shit to me, think you're a stud boy, but you'll never be." and there were the fucks in Blow away too.
bobby was a bigger cusser. he went from, "rain rain go away, no more fuckin rain", to including his favorite "f" word into many more songs like truckn and saint of circumstance.

The only problem was, that we could play a lot of good music on those non-commercial fm stations either. david gans will tell you that censoring wharf rat and other songs is a pain in the ass...

Censoring Wharf Rat is sacriledge! But I guess you hafta with the FCC and all. Guess it doesn't matter that much as they never got any airplay anyways and if they did probably 98% or more is stuff, language wise, you can play with your kids around.

Don't get me wrong I'm not a puritan by any stretch, I don't mind the words, it's just about the context ( which Wharf Rat has imo )etc.
